Who we are
ExamPassRate (exampassrate.com) is a service of TaggedWeb Inc., 8 The Green, STE 21214, Dover, DE 19901, United States. This policy explains what information the site collects, what it is used for, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. Questions go to contact+epr@taggedweb.com.
What we collect, and why
- Email address — when you ask for your pulse-check results, unlock the study sheet, buy a product, sign in with Google, or start a checkout and type your email on the payment page. Used to deliver what you asked for (results, the sheet, your access code, a sign-in link) and, only if you left the follow-up box ticked, at most two short follow-up emails plus one exam-date reminder if you gave us a date. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
- Pulse-check results and exam date — your score by section and the exam date you optionally enter. Used to personalize the results email and pick the drill question in the follow-up.
- Purchase records — the email you paid with, what you bought, when, and the amount, plus the access code we issued. Used to grant and restore access, honor the refund policy and pass guarantee, and keep the records a business must keep. We never see or store your card number; Stripe handles payment.
- Sitting log — for paid timed sittings: when, which mode, your score by section, and time taken. Used to show your progress and to verify pass-guarantee claims. Kept for about 200 days.
- Google sign-in — if you choose "sign in with Google", Google tells us only your verified email address. We use it to find the purchase made with that email and sign you in. We request no other Google data and cannot see your Google account.
- Usage data — pages viewed, buttons clicked, and product events (for example "started the pulse check"), collected through PostHog, together with the referring site and standard device information. Used to see what works on the site and fix what doesn't. Advertising conversion tags from Microsoft Advertising and Google Ads tell those platforms when an ad click led to a purchase.
- Support email — anything you send to our support address, kept as long as needed to resolve it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not buy data about you from anyone else.
Who processes data for us
Each of these providers handles data only to provide its service to us, under its own privacy terms:
- Stripe — payments and receipts.
- Vercel — hosting; Upstash — the database that stores purchase, contact, and sitting records.
- Resend — sends our emails.
- PostHog — product analytics.
- Microsoft Advertising and Google Ads — ad measurement.
- Google — the optional sign-in.
All of them store data in the United States. We share nothing with anyone else except when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Contact records (email, results, exam date) — until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Unsubscribing stops all marketing email at once.
- Purchase records — for your access window and afterwards as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Sitting logs — about 200 days.
- Analytics events — per PostHog's retention for our plan, currently up to one year.
Your choices and rights
- Marketing email — click unsubscribe in any message, or email us.
- Analytics and ad cookies — choose "No thanks" on the cookie notice, or clear the site's data in your browser to see the notice again.
- Access, correction, deletion — email contact+epr@taggedweb.com from the address in question and we will send you what we hold, fix it, or delete it. Deleting a purchase record ends the access it grants. We answer within 30 days. California residents have these rights under the CCPA; we honor the same requests from everyone, and we never discriminate for exercising them.
Security
Data moves over HTTPS only. Access tokens are signed so they cannot be forged, and the paid question bank is served only to signed-in purchasers. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will tell you.
Children
The site is for adults preparing for securities licensing exams and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for material changes affecting people we can reach, email them. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
